He had heard enough. "Aries. The time for carving our anger at someone trespassing in our temples has long since passed. So she was in your temple. Yes this is your home but it is also a place of worship still for our children, They will come to any temple and pray if they wish. It is a matter of sacrifice that our homes are invaded by them." he said simply. "IF they didn't we could never know them more then just someone we sired. Besides is it to much to ask that you show respect to your nieces and nephews?" he said staring at Aries, ignoring the girl behind him as well as Aphrodite.
"Just last week I had a son of yours pray in my temple for a safe crossing for the sea of monsters." he said. "I granted it. What happens if a child of Dionysus comes and prays for your help in combat. Or a Daughter of Apollo comes and prays for your help to end a fight before it happens. Would you rather just go it alone so badly that you'd rather watch the rest of the world suffer just so you can gain a smidgen of power?" He asked.

Ares scoffed as Poseidon spoke, the words did cut him on the inside, well actually to tell the truth, they would have if Ares had not grown a blackened heart when it came to the other gods, the god of war had lost all compassion for his fellow gods, the only compassion he held for another deity was for Aphrodite only. So Ares simply said.
"You are not my father, Poseidon and if I wanted your damn opinion on this punishment, I would have asked for it, old man." Ares paused for a mere second before he continued "I have not given up the old ways as respect should be shown to us, for instance, if these children of ours wish to pray in our temples, here on Olympus, does it hurt to knock?" Ares glared into the eyes of Poseidon and said "Now be gone, uncle and take that wretched thing with you. I do not want to see her in my temple again."
The words of Ares held a slight grief within them as he was hurt that all his siblings, his uncles and his mother and father hated him. And so he did not care about any of them, there was just one person on Olympus that he wanted to spend his life with but he had no intention of spending that time on Olympus, but if it pleased her, he would do anything. And Ares was a professional in pleasing this goddess of love.
Ares sighed as he waited for his uncle and niece to leave him and Aphrodite be and he turned his back to them as he used a hand gesture to let them know that they are dismissed. And then he said "Now where did we leave off after all those years, my sweet goddess of love?"

when ares spoke to posiedon with such disrespect aarya scoffed. "you say i was disrespectful yet you speak to one of the mighty three like that?" aarya asked. she just rolled her eyes and looked to posiedon. not really wanting to start more trouble aarya left when ares said to. without looking back she walked to her fathers room to be completely healed. she of course told her father everythign but begged him not to do anything.
